Hille Fieten is associate professor clinical genetics at the faculty of Veterinary Medicine, at Utrecht University. She works part-time in the clinic as a specialist in internal medicine, with a subspecialty in Hepatology. She leads the Expertise Centre of genetics where she and her team study hereditary diseases and harmful breed characteristics in companion animals.
Fieten received a VENI-grant from NWO for translational genetic research in dogs.
