Joost studied Veterinary Medicine (Utrecht University) and Animal Sciences (Wageningen University). He completed these programs simultaneously and graduated in late 2024.
Joost, along with his brother, is the successor to his father and uncle's dairy farm. He also works as a primary care farm veterinarian in Winterswijk, where he encounters all facets of veterinary medicine and animal science on a daily basis. In his daily work, he strives to help farmers produce the best possible animal products for both humans and animals. Joost has a broad interest in livestock farming and all its related areas.
