Marina Meester PhD

After earning a master's degree in Veterinary Medicine and Epidemiology from Utrecht University, Marina was trained as a Veterinary Public Health specialist and conducted her doctoral research on a zoonosis in pigs. She is currently researching the spread and evolution of viruses that can infect both animals and humans.

Marina also lectures on various bachelor's and master's courses on human and animal healthcare systems, epidemiology, and pig healthcare.
