Sixth Vaarkamp lecture

The Vaarkamp lecture is a joint production by the Council on Animal Affairs (RDA) and Utrecht University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, at the request of the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Security and Nature (LVVN).

It is a regularly held lecture initiated by the House of Representatives in memory of Professor Henk Vaarkamp, who died in 2011, and who was a Professor of Veterinary Pharmacy and Chair of the Council. The subject of the Vaarkamp lecture is always related to the welfare and health of animals in the Netherlands.
